What's new

My latest Eveready Restore.

It's 100-A, I think. On the bottom, Eveready is easy to make out, but the model number is about worn off. I haven't seen too many blue ones so I was happy to add this one to my collection. It has a 21mm Aceshaving Best Badger knot set deeper to add a little stiffness. I shaved with it for the first time this morning.

Nice restore! Can you give us some feedback on the softness/backbone relationship of the Ace best knot after several uses please?

I will post a review after a little break in. I can say that I have used this same knot in one other brush restore and another that I turned myself and I love the performance of this knot. Because I use mostly hard soaps, I wanted to experiment with making it a little stiffer to see if it loads any better. These knots are very soft without being floppy at all. I heartily recommend them.

The ACE shaving best in my opinion is better than TGN Best. ACE is softer at the tips and has good backbone and is not scritchy like the TGN version.
