I have now played around with this stone a bit and finished 2 razors on it with some slurry from the stone itself and it does give a nice shave.
I have shown this stone to an experienced honemeister and the vibe was a good one - he couldn't believe how little I paid for such a good stone.... I need to experiment with it more, I now have a full set of Nagura to play with so time will tell where it will fit in with my other finishers.
