My First Grade In Barber College

Okay I'm feeling quite proud of myself so I thought I'd boast a bit (not something I tend to do very often...)

I got my first module grade in college (the course consists of 8 modules).
The first module was Health and Safety and I had to do a written test as well as a report and a poster and a table.
I got two distinctions and one credit which gives me an overall distinction for the first module!
:biggrin1:

I'm really happy with the result and hope I can continue the good work. Our next assignment is due this coming Thursday.

I'm one eighth distinguished

Tús maith leath na hoibre.

I shamefully had to use a translator on this as I was translating it in my head and got confused between "leat" and "leath"
Literally it means "A good start is half of the work" but I was reading it as "The good half of you the work"!

Congratulations!

It's great fun to hear about your progression in a more or less dying profession.
Maybe someday you will give some of us a shave!
And I'm sure there are people here that would volunteer(? Not sure about the spelling) to let you get some practice.(At least I would if I lived a little bit closer)

I hope so ! Some of my closest friends though won't go under my blade if you paid them but then none of them use anything bar multiblade monsters.

Great job! My wife is very understanding of my shaving hobby. A few weeks ago I hinted I might be interested in barber school, and she stared feather blades at me. No barber school for me, pardon me if I live vicariously through you! :thumbup1:
