My first attempt at turning an Acrylic Handle

I won’t lie, it was a challenge for me, however I was happy with the results in the end.

Looks good. I'm wanting to get a lathe once I get working so I can make brushes. I really fell in love with the idea after seeing graydogs beautiful brushes.

Absolutely beautiful. Well done. I've been saying it forever, but I gotta get a lathe.

Acrylic is definitely a challenge the first few times, especially when starting with a square blank. Acrylic acetate and Inlace Acrylester are the worst, Alumilite isn’t too bad though. IME high speed and scraping (traditional tools or carbide) with very light passes is the way to go. You did good, I hope we see more from you.

Nice work, I like it! It looks like you got a nice polish on it as well. I hope to see more of your work in the future!
