My current lineup (razors and brushes)

This is my current lineup. I do have a few other tucked away that I don't really use but these are what I use for my basic rotation.

From left to right (Razors first):
Merkur Progress
Gillette Slim (Birth Quarter)
Muhle R41 Grande (new less aggressive model)
Merkur Futur
EJ87 (used for travel, some times I will use my feather portal, not shown)

Brushes:
Simpson Duke 2 in Best
Simpson 56 with TGN Finest knot (Was my fathers brush)
Simpson Rover (a few days old wonderfully dense)
H.L. Thater 49125/3
Simpson Commodore 1 (used for travel)

When I first started this shaving journey I never imagined that I would end up with this sort of collection that I actually use regularly.

My favorite combo now are the Rover and R41, but thats only because they are new.

That is an excellent lineup. Nice variety there. I love the Thater brush.

Wonderful variety. I love to see regularly used brushes that are maintained with care. Too many time I see brushes that have seen better days.

I like the look of the R41, and I probably could have used an open comb DE in my line-up. It's too late for me now. I'm attempting to convert to a straight. My two trusty DEs are relegated to last minute shaves or travel until I get the hang of it.

Love the rotation.

Nice rotation! Everytime I see a picture of a Merkur Futur I feel a little sting; I got a Futur as my second razor many years ago. I did not realize that my skin didn't agree with it, I thought that my technique was off. It took three tries in four years for me to realize that it was not for me... Your brushes are awesome, I myself wandered off to boar and then horse and then synth, only to realize I am a badgerguy! Long trip and still not even close to your rotation!

thats nice, witch one give you better shave between futur and progress? I'm looking to purchase and I can't make my mind on witch one to get.

I must say that the progress give a consistently great shave. I am loving my new R41 now though.
