My Apologies Regarding My Signature

I tried to make it smaller (#1 size) and less meritricious, but to no avail. It still SCREAMS!

I realize that not everyone shares my sentiments, hence, my desire to be more discreet.

Again, my apologies.

I'm not following you. Your signature is still MUCH larger than size 1?:tongue:

Yes, it is. My signature still SCREAMS British Imperial Crimson in a size #4 font.

I mean, just look at my post. Doesn't the size of font in my signature seem a bit overdone and "In Your Face"?

Maybe it is my Mac that is to blame, but I think not.

Although I don't apologize for my ideas and heritage, I really would like my signature to be in a smaller, less obstentatious size.

Again, although I am proud of my British Colonial heritage, I do realize that not everyone in this world has such fond and cheery memories of the British Empire as I do; particularly as a young boy.

If none of the moderators or site administrators have a problem with it, then I'll let it go. Otherwise, please chime in as to how I can modify my signature to a smaller font size. Yes, I tried to modify it in my User CP, but still no change.

Warmest Regards,

David

You might need a different font

I can't find the British imperial crimson but here's a replacement

How about Book Antiqua? Size 2

Fixed!
No charge.

Thank you, so very much, Jim!

I really do appreciate your "fixin" this "problem".

Believe me, you might never really know how much I thank you and how much your efforts mean to me. It allowed me to express my pride in my British colonial heritage, but in a manner that possibly may not offend someone that might not be quite so fond of the British Empire.

Again, Jim, thank you so very much!

Huzzay To You, Sir!

Very Warmest Regards,

David

If it were not for the Brits, I wouldn't be enjoying my Guinness right now, and I wouldn't share the love that is my girlfriends corgi.

That and the sheffield steel thing would be sorely missed.

Oh and almost forgot, I wouldn't be here either.

I have to dig it up but somewhere there is a photo of my cousin Juan and his friend Ken who are both obstetricians.

Yeah, it is one of the few photos of OB Juan Ken OB :lol::biggrin::lol:

You have to be yanking my chain! If not, you had better go to Mass and confess your sins over such a lame attempt at humor!

OB Juan Ken OB!

Please!

I am still rolling over on that one!

By God! That was some sharp, erudite humor!

Excuse me, while I wipe away the tears of laughter from the corners of my eyes!:001_wub::001_wub:

That was good, Sir!

Warmest Regards,

I've sent a "Friend Request" via PM.

I have used this screen-name for years (20+) and have never gotten the sort of learned, erudite humor as you have displayed.

OB Juan Ken OB

I am still wiping the tears away from my eyes, it was that funny!

Huzzay to you, Sir!

I came here from the UK. When I was doing the entrance exam for citizenship the chap had the gall to ask me where the US got independence from!
