My Antique Store Find.

Here are a couple razors I picked up today. I wanted to see what everyone thought.

I'll also post a group shot of all the razors they had. I had basically no idea of what I was looking at. I hope someone can point out something that looks interesting out of the group shots.

Here is the first one. A Filarmonica Double Temple 14. There are some imperfections and there is a bit of rust on the toe of the blade near the spine.






Here is a Boker that I bought. Its scales are broken at the pivot pin(is that what its called?). This one needs more work but I needed a smaller blade for tight spots. Is it worth anything if rescaled?



I think I hit a size limit with this post so I will put the final two photos in a reply below. I want to know where I should get these fixed up at. Any recommendations?

Lastly, here are some shots of the group of razors that they had. The last three photos are of a Wade & Butcher that I found interesting and wondered if it was indeed rare as the tag said. The scales are wooden and very large.







Does anything jump out at anyone from that group? Also, what about that W&B?? Should I go back?

That w&b with the funky channel is uncommon, but not extremely rare

Great scores! The wider the blade the more valuable it is when talking W&Bs.

That funky Fila-something and boker are junk Chinese fakes. You need to send them to me so I can properly dispose of theme :sarc:

Seriously, if you took that Filarmonica home and didn't break the bank you probably got a pretty good deal. Boker is a good name too.

IMO you should go back and write down any names of razors that you think are good quality. Go back through our B/S/T to gauge approximate value.
