MWF question

Hi Folks,

Stupid noob question here but I thought I'd ask.

Is the Mitchell's Wool Fat soap for shaving a different formulation from the bar soap?

Hi Steve,

Yup, the shaving soap is totally different to the bar soap. The bar soap is my preferred as a shower soap but no matter how much you whip it with a brush, it will never thicken up to produce shaving lather.

The shaving soap is God's gift to man!! The best shaving soap, producing a silky, slick shaving lather!

Regarding bar soap, my neighbor was helping with some work in my house. He saw my razors and asked about them He grew up on the island and used $.50 disposables and bar soap. He did not know there was such a thing as shaving soap. I gave him tech, cella and a 2band brush. He thought shaving had to be torture. I have also seen guys here shave each other on the sidewalk with nothing, nothing but a Dorco blade, no soap, no water.

Do yourself a favour and get the shaving and bath soaps. There's nothing quite like an MWF morning!

Edit: do yourself a favour a grab a couple of each...it'll happen anyway, may as well save on postage the first time around!

(I have 5 shaving pucks and 4 bath bars in reserve!)
