MWF in Boston?

Ok, I read the entire thread about places to buy wet shaving supplies in Boston and wasn't able to find an answer to this, so thought I would post -

Anyone know where I could pick up MWF in Boston? Going to be there this weekend for the parade with a bunch of friends and thought I could kill two birds with one stone...just anxious to get it (although I will be back in NYC next week and can pick up at Pasteurs but want to be greedy...)

You won't find it in Boston per say but colonial in Harvard square does have Kent pucks which is MWF relabeled but its pretty expensive. To be honest just walk in and buy something fantastic like Castle Forbes or something. They also have the full line of T&H products at the same prices you pay on line.

Colonial has a great selection, but no GFT, MWF, or AoS. GFT is available at Leavitt and Peirce, but for a crazy markup (39.99 with bowl, and I think 19.99 for replacement pucks). AoS is obviously available at their Boston store. But I haven't seen MWF anywhere, unfortunately.

Killing me!
I called Colonial earlier today (before I posted) and they told me they don't have MWF so I was hoping someone else did...guess I am SOL

Colonial is rather proud of their selection, and seems genuinely willing to stock any quality product for which there is adequate demand. I commented recently that they have T&H and TOBS, but not GFT. They quickly commented that they will have GFT starting this spring. I didn't ask about MWF. But they're looking in to alum blocks, at my recommendation (they have styptic pencils, of course, but no alum blocks). MWF or not (I've never even tried it), that store makes me very happy. And so does Leavitt & Peirce, even if they do charge $59.99 for a Merkur 38c. There's just something great about having both these stores just blocks from my home. Where else?

I do belive Leavitt & Peirce carries MWF.

Just a FYI, if you like Masters brand aftershave you may want to check out Venus Beauty Supplies in Central Square (T Red Line Stop) Cambridge.

Leavitt & Pierce carries most of MWF products, at least a couple of months ago when I was there

Don't know how you're getting around, but considering that public transportation from anywhere in Boston to Cambridge will be at least $2-$3 bucks and gas and parking will range from $5-$10 or more, there's really no economic value of going to these stories just to find something you can probably get for less in NYC. Now, if you just want to go to these stories for the fun of going, that's another thing (although, if you're going to Cambridge, you might as well do the whole Harvard Square thing anyway).

That's one reason I don't go to these stores--the cost of transportation from my Boston suburb adds up to far more than what it would cost to get any of these products shipped to me mail order.

The Spanish Inquisition takes the T.

They told me they like it because it saves them money on gas and parking.

And we all know, "Nobody fools the Spanish Inquisition!":sneaky2:
