I need to get some new soaps but after seeing how many different ones are available it has become hard to choose. So I was thinking, what are "the" soaps that ever wet shaver should try? The ones that are legendary for whatever reason. Help me out. So far I've only uses AoS Sandalwood and VDH. I've got some Arko, Cella, and Razorock on order. So what do you think?

I've heard Mwf can be tricky to lather which is why I haven't tried it yet. Never thought about palmolive.

Valobra Stick and the Wilkinson Sword Stick. Personally I like the Colonel Conk soaps too, any scent works for me.
With your recent order of Arko, Cella, and RazoRock (which one did you order) plus your current set up of Aos Sandlewood and VDH, I would say to play with those for awhile before you order anything else. You will discover that the Fragrance of the soap will become a large part of your selection process. You can also try out Garry's sample shop which will allow you to experience many different shave soaps in very small amounts at great prices. He is a vendor here at B&B.
