Murdock brush

Hi everybody, it's been busy busy lately, tried different blades, I am waiting for a Merkur 1904 and today I received a Turner set from Murdock of London. The razor went away as a present but the brush and the stand are lovely, now the brush is in full preparation for tomorrow morning's first shave. From what I read on their website, it's a best badger brush, a first to me. I own a synthetic one from The Body Shop and an hjm boar. The badger feels different, I'm looking forward to using it.

One thing I noticed so far, it didn't lose a single hair. Hope it stays that way! Will be back with more details on it as it breaks in and gives me (hopefully) many good shaves.

Here are a couple of pics, I gave it a try this morning and is something else, compared to the boar and the synthetic. It builds nice lather, I used Cade soap and it made nice lather. I suppose it will improve, but I like it much already

Very nice looking, I'd have a hard time paying that much for a best badger brush though!

There best could be like Kents' pure, meaning only the best badger is used. Not pure badger like Simpsons start at. Just a guess. Looks good though. I like horn handles.

@Omak it was a gift, so can't complain . @StuMcB it might be, I'll investigate. I didn't know anything about the brand until I got it, so I'm curious as well. The handle is lovely, and pretty heavy.
