Muhle stylo truja wood vs purist black horn shaving set

Hello everyone,

I need some help deciding between the following two shaving set:

http://www.muehle-shaving.com/shop/...vertip_badger__thuja_wood/93/97/S_091_H_71_SR

http://www.muehle-shaving.com/shop/...dger_hair__buffalo_horn/143/177/S_091_B_58_SR

The shop I went to only had the Stylo set in the african blackwood and it was nice but I think of getting the truja wood since it is water proof. However, they did not have the purist set in order for me to compared both.

Has anyone here used or owned either one of these sets. I would like to hear your opinions.

There both Beautiful in there own way, honestly i would get both, or depending which one goes with your bathroom or shave den better.

I have the Black African Wood and Love it.

Always knew it as Thuya Burl, from Morocco. It's illegal to export the wood from Morocco these days due to over harvesting. Wonder where Muhle get it?

Gareth

Thanks for the replies.

@ ERVARGASNY, how is the feel of the razor and brush on your hands. It does not look like it has a lot to hold on to in comparison to the Purist.
