Gentlemen (and ladies), still downsizing my razor collection, as I only use DE or SE for clean-up now that I use shavettes full time. Some good razors here that need to find a new and loving home! Sale is for CONUS only unless you want to pay actual shipping costs. If you are not in CONUS but see something you really want, let me know via PM and we can work out a deal. Prices as posted are for CONUS sales, shipping in included. Pics in subsequent posts.
1) Viking’s Blade Emporer Meiji all brass adjustable razor. This one came to me with the frowning blade problem, but I sent it to THall and he fixed it on both sides. Now the razor is a beauty and holds the blade flat. Wide range of adjustability. I really like this one, but it doesn’t offer anything my Fatboy doesn’t, so it has to go. My loss is your gain. These go for $62-70 new; this one is better than new. $55 shipped.
2) RazoRock Mamba 70. CNC milled from 316 stainless steel. Very sparingly used, essentially new. Head only. This is a mild but competent shaver. Only selling this one because I have a Meta-4 from PAA that shaves almost identically. Don’t need both. Razor is $70 new. $48 shipped.
3) Gillette long-handled Black Beauty, O-2 model (second quarter of 1969). This is one with the metal base, rather than plastic, as you can see from the pics. This is a user grade model. Not all the numbers have all their black paint. There is some discoloration of the black handle. The razor functions perfectly. The adjustment works, 1-9. Blade is held tight. Doors work well. No problem using this razor; have decided to keep the Fatboy as my only vintage Gillette adjustable. $34 shipped.
4) Baton-handled GEM junior. User grade. Functions perfectly. Have had many comfortable shaves with this one. The spring is tight and holds the GEM blade still. This is a mild shaver; good starting point for somebody new to GEM razors, and a favorite of veterans, too. Letting this one go for a song. $15 shipped.
5) Post-war Tech, user grade. This is one with the laser-etched Gillette on the top cap. Smooth, comfortable shaver. The handle has some discoloration. I haven’t taken the time to really try to polish either the head or the handle. Great starter Tech; try this one and decide if you want to spring for an NOS or a re-plated version. $15 shipped. (Or take both the GEM Jr and the Tech for $27 shipped.)
6) iKon “Tuckaway” handle, stainless steel. Great little handle. Really nice knurling. Quarter included in the picture for size comparison only (not included, lol). Standard threading means you can use this handle with any of your standard razor heads. Great for travel or for when you just want a shorter razor. Like new condition. No longer being made. If you want this one, buy it quickly because I may pull it off the sale if it sits too long. I enjoy it. Selling because I have too many handles. $27 shipped.
If you want more than one item I will decrease the total price because of combined shipping.
