Moustache / Goatee styling products?

Probably not the best forum in the world to pose this question on, but I am currently a month in on a circle beard / full goatee, and am starting to get some wild hairs poking in odd directions, especially in my moustache area and soul patch area. I use conditioner on my beard several times a week, but still have some stiff wiry hairs that are refusing to lie down.

What are some good products to use to tame wild facial hair? There is some sort of cream product from Bluebeard's that is too pricy to try unless it works, and I suppose I could try some light moustache wax, but I am clueless about these facial hair products. If anyone has any suggestions for taming wild facial hair I'd appreciate it.

Pinaud Clubman Mustache Wax. About 3 bucks at your local drugstore.

Don't listen to folks who tell you it is stiff and clumpy and leaves white smears on you.
Those folks apparently don't understand that you don't squeeze it out and use it like toothpaste.
A little in your hand, mixed with some warm water and then rubbed into the "wild hair", comb it with the small comb to get the wild hairs to tuck in to the other not wild ones.
Good Stuff.
Also available on Amazon.

You can get a beard trimmer and get them to a manageable length - that's what I did. Unless of course you're looking for length, then I defer to my constituents.......

I sport a goatee and I find that if I lather my beard as well, and let it sit while I shave the rest of my face it gets really nice and soft afterwards.
I don't usually do this personally because my beard is fairly soft (it might not be fully developed yet, but I think it's in my family as well), and I'll take whatever stiffness I can get.

I'd give it a shot if you haven't already tried it.
