Got my soap from Drew today. It is going to be a perfect soap for summer along with my Proraso. Love the smell and the texture. Wish I would have kept both of them but passed one on to a friend.

What does it smell like? I have a that's still wrapped in celophane but refuse to open it until I get rid of some other merchandise in the shave den.
I think it smells similar to Noxzema cream. It's almost like shaving with creamy Noxzema.

I always wanted to pick up a tub but can never find it most places I looked.
I like lavender...hope its not sweet lavender. It contains tallow?
Yes, tallow, and not too sweet.
This is a great soap. Used it today and paired really well with speick asb.
I wish there were vendors that sold it, its tough to come by I suppose. I have only found it on BST.

I was fortunate enough to be able to take advantage of a generous offer from another B&B member to buy some Monsavon and ship it to me from France.
I don't believe it's ever been distributed in the U.S. Occasionally someone travels or some very generous European (thank you, cookie_junkie) will arrange to send some our way. So you just have to keep your eyes open and hope to get lucky.
