Missed a Spot(s)!

So, I'm having trouble catching a few hard to reach spots. I'm using a straight 5/8" shaver and trying to get the mustache near the corners of my mouth and between my neck and my jawline. I'm doing a WTG and XTG, but can't seem to get XTG in these areas. Just scary when I look like I'm about to jab myself in the neck!!!

Right now it feels like a 2 o'clock shadow, so I know I get the WTG pass at least somewhat.

Can anyone help???

I can't help because I'm having the same problem with the XTG on my neck. It just doesn't look or feel right, but I think with time and confidence it should come to you. I find that watching shave videos helps out.

Look up the scything motion in the Wiki page. That should help you get hairs on your neck easier, just be careful with your pressure!

I'm still pretty new to straights, but so far I've found that going XTG using only the tip of the blade helps to get that area
