Mike's Hair Soaps

Does anyone know if you can buy these anywhere other than Mike's site? I know that Vintage Blades carry the soaps but not the shampoo bars. I know Mike's is not accepting any orders right now.

Thanks

I'm also very much looking forward to trying Mike's. I love his shaving soaps. I just discovered shampoo bars.

Liggett's Jojoba & Peppermint oil Shampoo Bar. Got it two weeks ago on sale from West Elm, $3.50/bar, with shipping, $5.60/bar for two bars. Wow, this is fantastic stuff! Liggetts is a significant grooming product discovery for me. It doesn't strip the hair and scalp of their natural oils! After lathering up quickly, densely, richly (note to self: try this as a shaving soap!) with a light, pleasant scent, it leaves them feeling... clean but normal and naturally moisturized, not artificially so. I don't need to use conditioner after shampooing with Liggett's. After drying and styling, my hair looks more natural, with richer, more saturated color, highlights and bringing out my natural waves. For me, this is as big a revelation for hair and scalp care as shaving soaps and brushes and DE razors were for shaving. My previous shampoo and conditioner are now obsolete. And, I love that the ingredients are so simple, natural, elegant: If you had to, you could eat this soap.

If Mike's stands so high in shaving soap in performance and value, I'm curious to see how he compares in shampoo soap.

Until mike gets back online, might I suggest mystic waters shampoo bars. They seem to last longer than mikes and are unsurpassed in performance IMO

Interesting. I'm finishing up my initial run with CV shampoo bars and was looking towards Mystic Waters as another option. Have you used CV bars before to offer a point of comparison?
