A few weeks ago I ordered some samples from Mike including Bay Rum. It was the first bay rum of any kind I had ever had, soap or aftershave, so I was excited to find out what bay rum smelled like. For my first shave I wasn't a big fan of the scent, it wasn't bad but I didn't really enjoy it. I put it away for a week and then decided to give it another shot and this time I liked it a little more. I tried it one more time a few days ago and now I'm hooked on it. I've used it for the past 3 shaves and I can't get enough. Has enough else had an experience like this with a soap?
Also, I was thinking of picking up a bay rum aftershave. How does the scent of Mike's bay rum compare to other scents? Is it a more traditional bay rum or does it have other scents mixed in when compared to other brands?

love it. I only have experience with one other bay rum product that is an all natural aftershave (using only EO for scent) and Mike's is very close to this product. I imagine the scent of the products will vary only slightly if they use EO's for their scents. Mike's soaps are superior products with their scents & performance.
