Would appreciate comments from owners of metal handled shaving brushes. I am considering a Shavemac 303 and am wondering what people love and/or hate about their metal (specifically aluminum) handled brushes.

Almost every shave brush (Horn, Wood, etc.) loves aquaplaningRetains heat well, slippery when wet.
As with all brushes the shape of the handle is important when it comes to hanging onto it when the lather starts overflowing.Metal becomes slick with lather so you'll need one of three things in a metal handle:1.a firmer grip.2.Knurling similiar to a super speed.3.multiple channels for your fingers. The third option is what I have. Here's a pic.If I were to get another brush with a metal handle I would commission a machine shop to lathe one for me with checkering.
Hey - How'd you get my brush?
I have the exact same handle with boar bristles.
Small world, eh?
