Merkur Stainless Steel Handle

I saw this listed on Royal Shave website. It appears to be the Sledgehammer with a stainless steel handle. What impresses me is the weight 150 grams which is over 5 ounces of mass. What doesn't impress me is the head. Its seems to be the head used on a lot of Merkur razors. If they would only have used the Bakelite head on this razor WOW.

Easy to switch..same screw thread..make a hybrid I do it all the time

Just picked this up and it is really nice..yes same head (better finishing) but wow if you like massive and heavy and handfilling grip..this rocks!!!! The price is worth it just for the handle and it is real stainless except for the trim caps. Solid and worth checking out

For it to truly be the Sledge Hammer, it really should have the Barber Pole knurling and a Slant head. In any event, it is a beautiful razor
