Hello All! My name is Ed and I have a Merkur HD long pole that I use on a daily basis. I was just wondering what would be the next progression from this? ADS is starting to kick in.

Take a look at the Merkur 1904's, regular head and OC. They have the shorter handle, but the 1904 is an excellent shaver IMHO.
If you've got your technique down pat you could try a slant. A slant will be more aggressive so be aware of that. The 39c has the barber pole handle and the 37c is the shorter version. Very Smooth and Efficient with good technique.
