Merkur Futur accident

Has anyone ever tried adjusting a Merkur Futur with a blade in it with wet hands and managed to slice the tip of their index finger?
No? just me then.

Imagine how embarrassing it is in the A&E to describe how you got the injury ................when you work in the Hospital.

I've had lots of offers of electric razors from colleagues.

Not just you ... I've noticed that when people talk about cuts and other injuries endured while shaving, its usually the hands that take a far worse beating than the face.

My latest cut was when my Mergress was about to fall off the sink and in a quick reflex action, I grabbed it by the head. It did not fall but it sliced my thumb.

Yes - I've done the exact same thing. Adjusting the futur, thumb slipped and got a pretty darn good gash. Bled for quite a while.

Stupid design! Hopefully the shave (waiting for mine to get repaired) makes up for it.

This is when you come up with a story so ludicrous that they know you're lying, but they don't care and just let it go.

"I was at a Jonas Brothers concert last night (had really good seats) and some 12 year old girl pulled a knife on me and told me that my seat was now hers. Well I wasn't about to have a 12 year old girl steal my seat, so I disarmed her and put her in a headlock... But then she started fake crying and the security guard (who didn't see the whole thing) thought I was just attacking her. He shot his tazer at me and I had to let go of the girl to avoid the darts. That's when she grabbed the knife and lunged at me, cutting my finger. After that, things didn't go well for either of them... But on the plus side, the Jonas Brothers signed my band-aid backstage after the show!"

And that's when you show them your forged signatures.

At this point they'll be so overwhelmed with the amount of effort that you put into the story, that they won't care what actually happened.

Embarrassment avoided!

Anyone (women too) who offers you an electric razor, just say, "Like you use?" Then reach out, rub their face with your fingertips and say in your raspiest voice, "Stubblyyy". Even if their face is BBS.
