Merkur 12C First Shave

I got a great shave from this razor. Luckily there has been some talk of this razor the past couple of months. Enough to get my RAD going. Some call it too mild. I just got DFS with one pass and 4 days of hair growth with no cuts or irritation. I used a similiar technique to a single ring although slightly altered for this razors larger size and weight. I think I'll put the slant away for a while.

Ok - so that's the open-comb barber pole. I like the open-comb; I don't personally care for the barber pole, but a lot of folks do. I get the best shave from my slant.

I like the open comb, but prefer the slant by a touch.

I liked this one best out of my new razors, but have gotten into my vintage razors so much that I haven't used it in months. Might use it as a travel razor on my next trip.

I bought the 12C, 38C and 39C at once last year and the slant is getting the most attention.
I can go really fast with this one and if I switch to the 12C, it feels so different from what I'm used to.
