Has anyone added menthol crystals to their witch hazel? Is so, how much and how exactly dud you do it?

Thayer's medicated version is lightly metholated. Very pleasant.
That's what I thought of....Thayer's Medicated Superhazel. Its described as a "topical pain reliever" and contains camphor.
I think it also has peppermint in it as well. I couldn't abide the smell, since it made me smell like Peppermint Patty until the scent dissipated (took longer than I had hoped).
I've bought a bottle of distilled witch hazel and ordered some menthol crystals from t'bay, any ideas what the ratio is rather than adding a bit at a time and seeing if its ok?
