menthol and Eucalyptus

BJJ

Hey, whats up guys, im new in this forum and i wanna thank you guys because its helping me a lot,

my question is..

products that contains menthol and eucalyptus are bad for people that have sensitive skin?

For some yes and for others no.

I have sensitive skin and they do not bother me.

Your skin may react differently or they may not bother you.

It really is on a person, by person basis.

Probably the best way to find out is to give each a try, then you'll know for sure.

Checkout the vendors at B&B. Some will have samples.

You will have to try each individual product to find out what works and doesn't work.

Products with aloe, glycerin, menthol and/or rosewater tend to work well for me. I stay away from products with clay, lanolin, mineral oil and/or witch hazel as they usually cause problems.

Thanks,
Mike

Some here, including me have had sensitivity to Proraso. Proraso is the poster child for menthol and eucalyptus. I don't think I have particularly sensitive skin, and to be fair, I really did not have a bad reaction to it, it was just too harsh for me.

I think it really is worth a try to see how your chemistry responds. I have sensitive skin that breaks out terribly with some products, but the Proraso line has been the best thing that's ever happened to my face. I use the sensitive skin pre-, followed by the green tube cream, and then the splash afterwards. It feels fresh and amazing. I'm going to try the balm as well, but this lineup has given me the best face I've had in years. Wife concurs!

Net-net, give it a try and see how it works.
