Men don't know where to wear their trousers

The author makes some valid points but It depends more on the style of the'trousers'. I wear jeans on the natural hip but not dress pants. It would look silly to slouch slacks or hike up jeans.

I glanced quickly at the title of this thread, and I thought it read "Men who don't wear their trousers"

All I know is that there is no way I'm hiking up my pants that high when I'm 57.

Good article. Good point in the comments that are below the article about trouser length, too, and "showing some sox." I think they are correct that that is something that used to be done.

Yes, but it doesn't mean it was right. :biggrin1:

Now that I think about it... my dad's in his mid 50's now, and I do believe his pants are at somewhat of a high point. Not a pleasant thought. And it seems pretty spot on. I'm in my late 20s and haven't worn my pants, even jeans, lower than my hip since my last couple of years of college. This wasn't really a conscious decision, I just eventually realized that it looked kind of silly, or at least, age inappropriate. Of course, this isn't universal. I certainly have more than a few friends that still wear their jeans with quite a bit of their underwear showing.

I really hope I never start wearing them under my armpits. Then again, 10-15 years ago, I probably would've said something similar to where I wear mine now.
