Martin de Candre Monday.
MdC Agrumes, lathered in a bowl with my Shavemac Synthetic - great lather. Two days growth reduced easily with the Rockwell 6S and a Personna Red Blade. Great Shave, close, comfortable, close to BBS.
Razor: Rockwell 6S, WTG: R5, XTG: R4, ATG and touch-ups: R3

Monday morning shave - Martin de Candre Monday... it will even be a MdC week for me. Why? I had the feeling I do not get 100% out of this soap. Frequently, there was not enough lather for the third pass or the lather quality was not constant over th three passes. I am a fan of training so this will be a week of training to unleash the full potential of this wonderful soap for myself.
Today I really took my time to work on the lather with my Shavemac synthetic, loaded longer than before, took time to work some water in the lather and was rewarded with the best lather I ever created from the MdC. Enough for at least 4-5 passes, quality was stable. Add a new KAI blade in the 6S and end up in a smooth, close, comfortable 10/10 shave.Looking forward to the shave tomorrow!
