Matgicol Platinum Razor Blade

It states its Swedish quality. The double wrapper is redesigned in Black & Also a Razor blade on the front. The blade has zero wax spots. 100 blades cost 9 Bucks shipped from Aliexpress. Two blades were sent to me to try by a friend.

The Shave:
Matgicol Blade #1 Shave #1
Tools: Razorock .58 gap SS Razor, Mogno soap, Pinaud Aftershave & brush.
Got a WOW smooth two pass shave this A.M. Almost BBS with minor touchup.
The Pinaud had only slight sting to it when applied. No nicks or irritation noted.
This blade is very smooth & is close to a Russian Astra blade IMO.
I am going to push this blade & see how many shaves it will go so stay tuned & don't touch that dial.

Got another excellent two pass shave with a little touch up.
The Matgicol blade is still sharp & smooth on this shave.
As always YMMV.

Another smooth close two pass shave from the Matgicol Blade.
This blade is still going strong with no slowing down yet
I have a medium beard type & my son has Peach Fuzz & could most likely get 50 shaves from the Matgicol Blade.
He gets 30 shaves from the Dorco Prime Blade.

I think it is interesting that the same manufacturer makes these, Rhinoceros XR, and FlyDear. We need to get a group test thread going.

Another excellent two pass shave this A.M.
The Matgicol blade still shows no sign of slowing down.
Its double wrapped & no wax spots as well.

Wow.. the blade is smooth & sharp for this A.M.'s two pass shave.
No sign of slowing down yet & the shave was close to BBS.
The performance is close to Suneko IMO.

This blade is excellent for me so far.
A nice two pass A.M. shave & close to BBS again.
No nicks & only slight irritation in spots on my neck.
Clubman took care of the irritation.

The blade needed a lot of touchup passes though.
So, in the blade bin it goes.
The Matgicol blade did give me X8 nice shaves so no complaints here.
