Is there an aftershave splash, or balm, that smells like DRH Marlborough but is a bit cheaper? I'm looking to trim my costs somewhere...

Ok, that did it, now I have to try Marlborough!
Marlborough is really a unique scent. I can't recall ever smelling anything quite like it. I have not smelled Pinaud SR though.

A dirty ash tray comes to mind....
It does have a tobacco smell to it--which I like.
I like Lilac Vegetal, too. Does that say something about me??
I find that ogallala cedar, sage and bay rum compliments marlborough shave soap wonderfully.

I'd love to just buy the Marlborough, but it's pretty expensive to get in Canada, and most places aren't huge fans of shipping alcohol internationally.

Give Honeybee Gardens Sandalwood splash a try. The price is good and the scent is top notch. Now it's not exactly like Marlborough but is has a very nice woody scent and it feels great on the skin post shave.

Just ordered some of the Honeybee Sandalwood. Will probably get some City Rhythms ASB if it is ever stocked again on well.ca. (I love free shipping..)
