Hey Kyle, I've been using mine since 2017 and have had no problems at all cleaning razors, watch bands, jewelry, and a few other odds and ends... Most of the reviews you see on Amazon you really need to sift through because 90 percent of the bad reviews are due to user error!!

What cleaning solution works best, Simple green or just Dawn dish soap?

Dawn has worked the best.

I just bought the same cleaner. I agree with muzichead, Dawn Ultra is great. The unit comes with a watch stand and a plastic basket. If you use the basket it does absorb about 30% of the vibration. I haven't found that to be a problem.

Absolutely. Get it from Amazon. If it doesn’t work you can return it. It is so small that you can store it anywhere.

How loud is it? If i am in the same room will it be fine?

It hums but nothing distracting. If you get a machine that doesn’t make noise, it’s broken.
