Old pipe racks would be suitable as well.

I have a few I keep pipes in. The ones that have the round holes would be perfect. Some have jars in the middle that would be good to store blades etc.

Interesting, looks very solid & well designed. Unless your photo is playing tricks with my eyes you top support looks Concaved...

Thanks! Correct! Two advantages to that, the handles angle out a little making them easier to grab and it keeps them slid in tight, so they're not working themselves toward the edge and falling off if I jostle or move the stand. They easily slid off my flat prototype and I worked hard to get a seamless bevel on top.
