Looking forward to the Winter games

I'm a big fan on the Winter Olymipcs... Summer games less so, but I always enjoy the events when they come around.
I'm really looking forward to the Winter games from Vancouver, BC. While I feel that many events take an unfortunate backseat to figure skating, I can't wait to watch the speed skating and skiing events.. and I'm pulling for Apollo Anton Ohno to do some great things..

It should be interesting!

I didn't even know the Winter Olympics were this year, this is the first I've heard anything about it. Thanks for the update! Hopefully they televise some curling this year.

Anyone planning to head to Vancouver for the games?! I went to Salt Lake City 8 years ago and had a blast. Also got the worst flu I've ever had before returning home to Michigan... and I got the full work-up by TSA on the flight back changing planes in MN, even with a 1 year old baby... did they really think I would try to bring down the plane with my wife and daughter?!?! Poor guy SURELY caught my flu, I was like death with shoes-on. Wife couldn't stay awake long enough to drive home from Detroit so she woke me up, sicker than a dog and I drove home... somehow. I think I woke-up in our driveway.

Hmmm, come to think of it... I guess I HAVE had better trips... but I still wish I was going to Vancouver. I hear it's a great city.

I love the winter games. I love to watch hockey, bobsledding, luge, skiing, and speed skating. Oh and cross country skiing for some odd reason. And moguls. Okay I'm done.

Much better than the summer games. Honestly, the gymnastics competition is the only thing that ever interests me during the summer games. It's the only thing that you watch and go "wow, how do they do that?" Much better than watching track all day.

I like the winter games much more than the summer as well. Hopefully there will be a new flat screen in the future before they start

Absolutely, positively, love the Olympics. Winter and Summer. Will watch everything I can. 2 weeks of entertainment that is better than any "Pro" sport. Even with the cheating amongst the judges. Can't Wait.

i'm there, man. i love curling, and i always catch just the end of it!! I've got DVR this time, and all I need to know is when it's on!
