30% off everything at Executive Shaving Company! One off Summer sale.

I just got an email saying Executive Shaving Company are running a one time only Summer Sale.

Link to store: Buy Quality Shaving Products for Men at Executive Shaving - https://www.executive-shaving.co.uk/

30% off everything! Just enter code "SUMMER30" at checkout.

I've been browsing and it seems to be a fantastic sale, especially for anyone looking for more expensive items. Prices often working out less than what items go for used.

Unfortunately their stock inventory doesn't seem to be as extensive as it once was but they do still have a lot of Rex razors in stock.

I just checked and with the code the Ambassador works out around £170.. down from £245. Good saving there!

I'm almost tempted to grab an Konsul as I'd always been debating over one.. with the code it works out at around £200.. down from £290.

I think 30% off even rivals the Razor Emporium winter sale? If I remember correctly it's 30% also from memory? Plus buying from the UK I'd save on import fees I'd have to pay buying from US.

I've used the Executive Shaving Company many times and I'd highly recommend them. Very good store.. great people who will always ensure your satisfaction. I just wish they had more of an inventory sometimes. They used to stock MdC and Trumpers etc but they all seem to be out of stock.

Anyways, just thought I'd share about the sale.

I perused their wares last night and again just now. In that time their razor stock has dwindled down to only 9 options... I hope we're not about to lose another British vendor :(

Great tip. Thanks!
But I just saved 50% at Executive Shaving last night! and Lots of out of stock, but still plenty of deals. Got a Rex stand for my Konsul for 50$. Got a nice German manicure set. Lots of Scottish product that I'm interested to try.

Shipping was 26 bucks to the US, though. Still, a deal!

It looked like they had the Konsul in stock when I first looked at the 50% off sale.... but I don't have that one budgeted.... I still have the Ares coming up soon.

Edit: I just went back and looked.... It certainly looks like a going out of business sale... I'm hoping it isn't...

Some great deals there, although it makes me worried about what's going on, and with shipping the prices to the US it cuts into the discount significantly, at least for what I'd be interested in.

I really don't need another brush or soap but some tempting items in there.

Someone asked on Facebook if they were closing and they responded that they are simply running down their current stock and then they will focus on their own brand items and select third party products.

I Sounds like they're just having a bit of a revamp.

Thank you for the update. I’d hate to see them go. Their customer service is beyond excellent. Due to shipping costs to the States, I only place an order large enough to offset it, so I only buy from them sporadically.

Taken from a UK Shaving Forum, and which was posted a short time ago.

Is the store shutting down?
People started receiving emails of orders being canceled but payment was made.
No reply from them for what I understand.
Seems like the heist of the century in the wetshaving community just took place!

I guess my concerns weren't without merit. I had an email conversation with Brian Mulreany after Brexit. He told me the monthly loss was close to 20,000 pounds a month, not the 10k mentioned in the current announcement. I still don't know why the Brits fell for that strategy. The end result was...Imports are all but impossible and their exports were no longer cost competitive.... All in the name of Self-sufficiency, not realizing the benefits of remaining with Western Europe as a unified economic force.

Did he say that they were losing 20k/month (like net loss), or that sales went down 20k/month after that?
The way I read it was that sales went down 10k after brexit, not so much as a comment about actual net losses. I can obviously see either number being catastrophic for small business, so it’s not like there’s any real silver lining whichever way you slice it :crying:

Good morning, I live in the UK and IMHO leaving the EU via Brexit was one of the biggest acts of self harm that I think that I will see during my life time and I'm now in my 60's. This can of course be repaired, if our new government would allow us the people / it's citizens another vote to try and put this right and to reintergrate ourselves with EU - but sadly it appears that they prefer the realignment route for the moment - but which is a start and which may lead to what is desired further down the line. FWIW, the latest opinion poll that I say was 56/44, in favour of rejoining the EU - but if I'm honest with you I think that the number for rejoining the EU is significantly higher.

Brian said 20,000 pounds a month in “revenue “ I got the impression that was net, but it could have been gross sales. I haven’t emailed him since he retired. He was one of the nicest people I’ve met since I started my own journey 2.5 years ago or so. I learned a lot from his emails, chat option on their website and the many YouTube videos he made. I was sad when he retired and sad to see Executive Shaving Company close. I remember them fondly every time I shave, as I use the Claymore Evolution are my nose each time. I’m not exaggerating when I say Brian comes to mind when I pick up that razor.

British people are strong and resilient. In the long run they will better off than being under the EU bureaucracy.
