Looking for inexpensive brush for starter kit

So I'm looking for two brushes for a starter kit for my dad & brother. I'm looking for inexpensive...cheap. My first brush was a Parker for around $35 and I thought it was a very good 1st brush. Is there something I can find cheaper than that? Any $20 or less decent brushes?

I want to stay away from Boar...if I would have started w one I may have not fallen in love w wet shaving. I think I'm leaning with Frank's synthetic...however I doubt I can have them by Fri when I need them.

Most folks who try both boar and badger, prefer the badger. A badger will hold more water and more product. Any grade of badger finer than Black will be softer on the face than a boar. A well broken in boar will gitter done but I would spring for a badger. Larry's badgers are pretty darn cheap. You might also look at teh Lijun brand Chinese badgers.

Where can I find Larry's brushes?
