Looking for great Atlanta Coffee Shop....assistance please

Good Day,

I will be in Atlanta this weekend and am staying near the Atlanta Perimeter Center hotels. I am looking for a great coffee shop that, preferably, roasts their own coffee or uses locally roasted beans. Staff that really know what they are doing when pulling a shot (no superautomatics desired). An independent shop is preferred...no char-bucks. Sorry to be so picky but I am a roaster and would like to find a great shop. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you.

If yuo make it over to Decatur then Java Monkey has good stuff. It's a little ways from Perimeter. I think the closest over there is Cafe Intermezzo. However, they are more known for their dessert than their coffeee.

Hm, I guess I'll post this here too..

Cool Beans Coffee Roaster is a local shop in Marietta... it is about 12 miles from where you are going to be. I cannot speak to how they compare to others because I am not a big coffee geek. I can tell you it is where Alton Brown filmed a good portion of his Coffee episode though!
