Looking for a shave stick.

I'm open to anything. Irish Moos, Speick, or whatever. I want one for a change up and for traveling.

What is your best shave stick?

Rose geranium, Lemon Cedarwood, or Lavender from Qedusa.com?

Arlington or Marlborough stick?

Give me your best stick advice.

That's a YMMV thing. It depends what you like.

I would look at the reviews. I like any soap in a stick myself... Even those that don't come in a stick format!

Oo, that's a tuffy. I like La Toja, Irisch Moos, and every single Speick product out there, but if I had to pick a "starter stick" I'd say Palmolive is the way to go. It's really easy to lather, performs well, is really cheap, and is easy to grate if you decide you don't like the stick format.

+1 on the Palmolive stick; if you can get the tallow based one (made in Germany), it is quite excellent, and very well priced

Just get the Irisch Moos and be done with it.

It is, without question, my favorite. I believe Bullgoose stocks it now, though I get mine from www.alpinevillagecosmetics.com, which is just a short drive away. Though Bullgoose is a terrific vendor, too.

I personally like Mama Bear's Sandalwood Vanilla shave stick. It whips up into a nice thick lather and I think it smells good.

Then again, I'm a schmuck so you'll probably want to just scroll on down.

I'd go with mocha java from Charles at QED. A nice waker upper scent.

I'd say +1 on the La Toja. I recieved a stick in a PIF and I love it. Smells good and it works beautifully.

I've tried a few high end shave sticks and they were nice.

Then I tried Arko.

For price, performance and lather Arko is the best!

Of course YMMV.

Irisch Moos, Speick, Palmolive, Valobra and last but not least Arko - five great sticks of tallow soap. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.
