Look what just arrived.

Just got this in the mail today! Thanks to Bob Quinn of Elite Razor for excellent communication, prompt turnaround, and top-notch product.

Handle & brush are made from Amboyna burl. Handle is 3 7/8" long and weighs 1.6 oz. The brush is a silvertip badger with a 51mm handle, 22mm knot, and 48mm loft (per my specs). The bowl is a beautiful chrome finish and is about 3" diameter with 2" depth.

I love them already and have not even used them yet. Can't wait to fit the handle to my EJ89 and get to work!

That set looks great.
Burl wood grain not only looks fantastic, but will last for years it's rock hard wood.
I've got a wine bottle holder thats burl and it's very strong

Thanks all for the kind remarks. I spent days going back and forth and finally decided to do a gold-laced quartz but then found out he was short on material and rather than waiting (I'm not a patient man) I decided to go back to my original choice of Amboyna burl. I'm glad I did because to me there's nothing more manly and more classy than woodgrain... love it in my car, in my office, on my watch box, and now on my shave gear.
