I have been in love with my new EJ DE89 and I asked Bob at Elite Razor to make this for me out of stone. I don't have my hands on it yet, but he says the weight is the same as the original. Great work and I cannot wait.

I saw the stuff he was doing with stone, based on his post in the Shopping forum, and simply wanted something white. he thought Alabaster was too fragile and suggested this. I jumped on it.

I used the razor for the first time today. It is NOT slippery. In fact, the fatter handle than stock makes it even easier to use. All-in-all, a fantastic improvement for an already great razor. People are going to beat down Bob's door!

Not really. I have shaved with my long handle slant now for a few shaves at it is not slippery at all. The stone has a furniture wax on it which aids in grip.
Trust me, I would not use any slant if I thought it would slip out of my hand, otherwise it would be
better not drop that- you'll damage it or your sink/counter!

It weighs the same as the stock razor so its hand feel is very good.
