Longer lasting Windsor

Hey there Gents,

I recently acquired a bottle of DR Harris Windsor EdT. I absolutely love the scent, but I find that it seriously lacks in projection and longevity. Within 2 hours it's totally gone.

Can anyone recommend something that smells like Windsor, but behaves more like a typical cologne? I love the bright citrusy scent with a lot of leather and peppery notes that I think I get from the Windsor. Super classy.

Terre d'Hermes. If you want super longevity, the parfum version will last for days.

I own both TDH EDT (100 ml version) and TDH Perfume (200 ml version) and they smell like Windsor so much,t hat I have to say that DR Harris copied TDH when they made Windsor.

I get 8-10 hours longevity from TDH Le Parfum, and 6-8 hours longevity from TDH EDT - on my skin it does not last for anything close to half a day, unless I spray on my cloths, which I hate doing.

You could also look at Dior Fahrenheit Aqua - this lasts 10-12 hours on my skin, is a more creamy version of TDH added a tiny bit of the original Fahrenheit.........

Is there any noticeable difference between the scent of the EdT and EdP versions?

My impression is that the EdP version has a richer, more intense fragrance and lasts quite a bit longer (although the EdT is no slouch in longevity). I should say that I have never alternated between the two--I tried the EdT first.

TdH for sure, another more affordable option would be Yardley Citrus & Wood - very similar vibe to my nose.

Nope. Definitely similar. Probably a bit heavier on the vetiver, but a great suggestion.

I consider Windsor- Arlington Light. I have both in AS and cologne. I agree Windsor fades in a short period of time, but Arlington has about twice the staying power on me. Really like them both though, same nice initial hit of citrus but feel Arlington may have more of a cedar base after the dry down.

That's odd, the DR Harris Windsor lasts all day on me and I can still smell it on the neck of my sweater the next day.
