Living In the USA, Order Aftershaves from Overseas

Anyone ever had a problem receiving bottles that were broken or cracked? I've seen a few vendors that are located overseas that indicate they will ship aftershaves to the US for a reasonable price but I've always been leery of ordering because I don't want to wind up with a cracked glass bottle or a leaky package.

Thoughts?

Glass can break right here in the CONUS, doesn't need to fly across the pond. Glass is fragile. Order from a reputable vendor that packs carefully.

I highly recommend Leon @ vintagescent. He is located in Portugal. I ordered some La Toja aftershave from him.He offers great prices with the cheapest shipping rates going & all packaged with due care. The glass bottled aftershave made it safely here to Canada with no problems.

Riley, that's good to know. I've ordered from Leon a few times but never aftershave because I was concerned about it arriving safely. But maybe I will try ordering some from him in the future.

I've received after shave from Leon and from Manufactum without any breakage, but in so few shipments that the statistical value of my success is purely anecdotal.

+1 for Leon...speedy shipping, great prices, and a really nice guy to deal with. Also great for nice Semogue brushes and other harder to find shave items (La Toja cream, 444 balm, etc.).

I ordered from Leon and had no problems and his shipping rates are ridiculously low. I think the shipping cost was like 4 euros for the LA Toja AS, cream and stick, with shipping the total cost was about half what it is from a US vendor.
