I'm interested in a lime-scented shaving soap, preferably a hard soap with tallow, though neither of those are required if the performance is good and the scent is right. It doesn't have to be a pure lime scent either as I'm wanting something that would work well with something like Taylor of Old Bond Streets #74 Victorian Limes or Penhaligon's Douro. Any recommendations?

http://www.mikesnaturalsoaps.com and http://www.queencharlottesoaps.com both are considered to be some of the best and they do contain tallow as well as other great ingredients that provide for a luxurious shave.
+1 Can't go wrong with either one of these. Both have samples available-do a shootout and see which one you like.

The QCS lime is the best lime I've smelled and it pairs perfectly with the TOBS Victorian limes. It smells great and works even better.

I'm with him about being a Mystic Water lover. I have not tried her Lime, but I have tired the Coconut Lime Verbena and the Lavender Lime. In the two I tried, the lime was kind of back seat to the Verbena and Lavender in each of them. Both are nice scents, but not primarily lime, at least not to me. I do recommend her soaps though. I own a few pucks as well and they are my favorite soaps.
Castle Forbes is considered a cream, but to me, it is just as dense and most Italian soft soaps and I load it the same way as a soap. Might want to consider that as an option. I tired a sample of the Lime from Garry. Performance was outstanding. Lime scent was a little to sweet for me.
I do have a sample of Mike's Natural lime on the way. Should be in Monday. I have tried a couple of his other soaps and they are also top notch stuff.
But like bkflyfisher said, both Mikes and Mystic Water offer samples for pretty cheap. Would be worth trying a couple of samples, but I don't think you would be unhappy with purchasing either on of their lime soaps.

+1 on Mikes, his soaps are on point!
+1 on QCS or Mike's. Both are phenomenal with QCS getting the edge on scent, IMO. Both are soaps but Mike's is softer. Both can easily be manipulated into any container.
Are QCS, Mikes and MW all better lime scents than CF lime cream? I'm a soap guy but people say the CF lime is just a marvelous scent.
I haven't used MW, but I have Mike's, QCS, and CF currently in my rotation. All 3 smell very different, with the QCS smelling the best to my nose. I enjoy all 3 very much but they are all different. If you like lime, you owe it to yourself to try all 3. Performance for each is top notch.
Mike is currently working on a veggie formula.

QED Lime is also a great melt and pour lime soap; no tallow but performs beautifully.
Mystic waters lime is the best I've tried. Best lime scent in the business and just a superlative lather. Order a sample and see for yourself.
+1 on the QCS key lime, i use both the cream and the aftershave...great stufff, highly recommended. Have not yet tried the others, but you can get samples of each...good luck!
Never tried QCS but I can back up the Mystic Waters & Mikes Natural recommendations. 
I have only used Col Conk's lime glycerin soap puck, superlathered with Kiss My Face key lime cream. I will definitely be looking into a few of these recommendations.
