Lijun Badger brush

I picked up a Lijun Badger brush off ebay as my first brush. I wanted something that seemed middle of the road. I didn't want to spend a fortune nor did I want a $4.99 pile of junk. I haven't seen much mentioned about them so I will assume they are not held in the highest regard but I thought I would give my impression. This is my first brush and have nothing to compare it to but it seems like a fine brush. It holds a ton of water, a boatload of soap, I have no trouble making a nice lather. The thing I like is that it has what I have heard referred to as backbone. It is not too stiff or prickly. I find it soft enough but sturdy enough to not splat against your face which I seem to like. You can really work the lather in, I have had no problem with shedding. All in all seems like a good brush. Just thought I'd give it a little love.

I bought one a couple of years ago off of eBay. The one I got was 24mm knot with 57mm of loft silvertip

It is not a bad brush. I enjoy using it when its turn comes up.

I have a LiJun 21mm Finest that is a great all around brush. It has nice backbone, soft gel-like tips and has handled everything I have thrown at it well. The only downside is that it is lacking density so it would be better for me if the loft were lower, but it definitely doesn't suck by any means.
