Lid for OS mug?

Has anyone has any success with locating a good lid for OS mugs? I have a wonderful vintage OS mug that I'll soon be grating some soap into. Any suggestions?

Apparently I'm a dope and this question has been asked before. Attempting to find a 3" knock out test cap at Home Depot. Will post pics for everyone later.

Plastic coffee house lids work well for some of the mugs too. Just remember there are 2 different diameter mugs.

Go to your local plumbing supply store. Ask for a knock out test cap of 3" size. Fits perfectly on top of the Old Spice mug, and unlike the original Old Spice lid is very durable.

These devices are usually yellow, but if you want you can paint it red for the authentic look.

It looks like this:

That's actually what I am going to try and get. I'll see if Home Depot carries it. If it's the wrong size I'll be out $0.25

I have been plagued by tiny fruit flies attracted to my soaps, and put lids on all mugs, but I have about as many sizes of mugs as I have total count. I visit local stores such as The Container Store, and buy small containers to "borrow" the lids from. While my soap is still wet, I put a square of tissue on top, and something to hold that in place for a half a day or whatever it takes to dry out. Several members have commented in past threads on the subject, that there are some brands of ready-made cake frosting with appropriately sized lids, however, none of those lids fit anything I had (I have three very different Old Spice "mug" style products in my collection of mugs).
