Leather Shoes Stained

Was at a ball game wearing my leather boat shoes and some Muppet spilled his beer all over one of my shoes. Any good advice on how to remove stain?

Saddle soap. It will work wonders.

Sight unseen, I'd guess that a combination of shoe soap (saddle or otherwise), renovateur, and cream/polish will be the likely treatment for best results.

Thanks for the suggestion on Saddle Soap gentlemen... I will give it a shot. I can post pics later but thought it was pretty straight forward(Beer-Leather). Not trying to be rude there....

Well the saddle soap may darken the leather some, but probably even things back out.

Not trying to be a smart *** but you may just want to beer the other shoe to match, and then clean them both with saddle soap. getting them both to match in shade will be near to impossible otherwise
