Leaf: Twig vs Thorn...I can't tell the difference

There's loads of comparisons and resources for the Twig vs Thorn debate, but I feel a bit off I can't tell the difference between the 2 even with a side by side shave. I'm trying to decide which one to keep, and for the life of me all other things being equal I can't make out a difference between the 2 in terms of achieving a bbs, irritation etc... so not clue which one to keep. Maybe...just maybe...the Twig is a bit more forgiving around the trouble areas on my neck, but it could also be power of suggestion knowing it's the mild one. That being said, I find myself using a bit less pressure with the Thorn for the same passes and is MAYBE a bit more efficient on the first pass?

Again, I can't really make out the difference side by side and own both and at a loss which one to keep. Any input or ideas I haven't considered much appreciated! I do have a Razorock Mamba 53 arriving Monday I'll be curious to try and see if one of the most mild razors on the market compares one way or the other to the Leaf products. I also had their regular 3 blade Leaf razor I sold because it wasn't really for me face shaving, but my girlfriend like it enough that she bought one for herself so not a complete loss in terms of somebody benefiting (she bought the oil slick looking one for herself and it does look pretty sharp)

I've not felt the need to try the Thorn given how perfectly happy I am with the original Twig but suspected that either I'd feel no difference or the difference would be considerable in that the Thorn would be deliberately aggressive.

I've come to the widsom that I like sharp blades and like them in very well engineered razors with a gentler face-feel. I am very happy with my technique and know my beard map well. I mention that because it sounds like you do, too. I'm one of those folks who likes a disciplined shave and will pick up stragglers on the next pass - two passes are always sufficient for me and so an aggressive or more efficient first pass is not necessarily something I need.

The Thorn is a deliberate tweak to molify all those who bleated that the Twig was "too mild" or "not aggressive enough" or "too forgiving" or "not first pass efficient" ... who perhaps didn't take the time to appreciate just how, well, perfect the Twig is; or, perhaps don't quite have the honed technique and rely on overly aggressive razor to fill in the that.

... and so to conclude, I would keep just the Twig.

Dull yet interesting
Wow. In my experience the difference between these two razors is staggering. Only razor I've ever returned was the Thorn. The company sent me a Twig no questions asked.
Wow. That's wild. I can hardly tell any difference whatsoever between the two.

I used the 3 blade LEAF razor (with 2 blades) for my head shaves and got razor bumps. I just tried my new TWIG and find it's easy to hold and manuever and does a great job on my head shave. And so far, no irritation or bumps. Who else has found the TWIG or THORN to be great for their head save? Which do you use and why?

I love the Twig but wanted something that cut just a little bit closer.
The Thorn turned out to be too much and cut me more than most razors and left irritation sometimes.
I decided that I would just be happy with the "less efficient" Twig.
