What's new

Last one try

In the first months of this year I tried the SR shave... the results wasn't as good as I wish :cursing:
But now my scars are heal and my spirit is up: I will give this style another chance. I'm just looking for the hardware now (probably a Whippeddog set).
The big question is: any good video tutorial that you would recommend me? (about the actual shave, the strop and the hone).

Thanks for all the wisdom :p

Patience and having fun are key. It might take months to get comfortable shaves.

I’m stumped
keeping a journal here will help. I found in the first few weeks that it helped me think about the pros and cons of the shave plus you will get a lot of good advise as you go.

Paco, you must have the longest CT on the forum. (Funny too.)

Also, you guys who don't switch hands when you shave freak me out.

Also, the stropping part of you video made me giggle in an immature way.

You tube shave some fair videos. Ebay has some good second hand blades. Strops and hones. Just stick with Dovo and vintage razors that come prehoned. Stay away from chinese cheep blades as they require much work to get them shave ready. As far as learning to use the straight that comes with experience.
