Lanvin Arpege for men

Why did this scent fail? Can still find it at perfume shops in the malls but it isnt well respected nor popular. i thought it was a nice powdery scent.

Maybe because Arpege is a classic women's scent, but hasn't really been updated enough to convince the male market that its masculine counterpart is worth owning. I've read that this one is truly beautiful and worth every penny, but I have to admit that I skip over it myself when I see it at Marshalls. I think I should give it a chance eventually, though.
