Lady Gillette Colors

I've recently been eyeballing some Lady Gillettes on ebay. I know they came in three colors -- blue, pink and gold -- but some pictures make the color of the handle look darker than others. I'm curious: are these just differences in the photos or have some of the handles faded over time?

I've got one of each: blue, pink, and champagne (sounds fancier). I've not see many pink or champagne ones listed on eBay but many of the blues. There does seem to be a difference in the colors but I can't tell if it is use or a result of changes in production.

The Lady was produced in FOUR distinct colors - Pink, Champagne (gold-ish), Light Blue, and Medium Blue.

What I don't know is if the two blues were produced at the same time, or if there was just a major shift in the blue-shade paradigm at Gillette. I have seen pictures of both "side by each" but have never had them both in hand at the same time.

SWMBO shaves with a nice Champagne Lady - smoother legs than with anything else!

I'm going to eventually shave with them, just because I've heard that so many men do. I got the blue one for SWMBO but she uses an Epilady  and hasn't made the switch yet.

Yes, the Lady's head is a Super Speed . . . and we all know how well-behaved and smooth they are. The longer handle is preferred by some, given the longer handles of today's shaving devices. (I hate to call a Fusion a razor . . .)

Assuming that one is secure in his masculinity there is nothing inherently wrong with shaving one's face with a Lady Gillette, pink, champagne, or otherwise.

The Epilady, however, is just wrong . . . for both genders. :out:

Champagne Lady Gillette
Kent BK2 brush
Queen of Charlotte - rose (when it arrives)
Thayers Rose Petal Witch Hazel
Lilac Vegetal

I better be secure with that lineup.

Ah ha! So what I'm likely seeing is the light blue, not a faded blue. Thanks!

Not that this making choosing a color any easier!

My light blue Lady was made in 1966 and my darker blue Lady was made in 1973. Aside from there, here are 2 images showing design differences between my 2 blue ladies.
