Krona Kruiser is truly an Artist

Hi All,

I have been holding onto a G1 Fatboy for awhile now, and have been looking into options to get it replated. Through alot of research here at B&B there seemed to be alot of Kudos towards Krona. I emailed him and received prompt replies. Due to his reputation I felt comfortable sending my prized possession to him.Quite quickly I received my Fatboy back and it looks amazing! Here are some images to show off.

A huge thanks to Krona who has made this an amazing part of my collection!!! His service is amazing, the quality of the plating is great and he also included some blades with the parcel! What a great part of the community.

Hey guy's remember that President with the black speckled plague which the plating came off? ? Krona just sent me a teaser. It's done! I'm really looking forward to shaving with this Jefferson President.:w00t: Yeah, I know it's not rhodium but that can wait.

Congrats! I cannot wait until I get my re-plated (nickel) Aristocrat. All I know is that Sam is a true gentleman and is a pleasure to communicate with. Did I say I can't wait to get my Aristocrat back.

I got this to be my everyday shaver, and, that is what it is so far.....:thumbup1:

I am waiting for him to complete a Red Tip restoration. So far am very happy with the
Aristocrat and English Fat Handled tech he did.

Just went out to the mailbox and what should be in there? A small President done expertly by Krona. President Thomas Jefferson would approve.:euro: Pictures do not do this justice.

I just sent him two of my three Fatboys for replating. One is going to be a gift to my grandfather who hasn't used a DE in quite some time, but was interested in my new hobby. I figured what better way to introduce him than with a nice replated Fatboy! One of the two I sent had some battle wounds, but he assured me they would be taken care of, and in Krona I trust. So far, he's provided nothing but prompt, courteous service and I can't wait to see my boys when they're done!

I have an aristocrat I'd like to have re-plated. Question: is a gold replate durable, or should I forego authenticity and opt for Rhodium?

A gold replate was done for a member here by reliable wit lacquer put on. That should hold up a few years. As for rhodium that would look stunning too. Really your call. I'd do rhodium and then just buy an excellent cased Aristocrat. This hobby is about having fun.

My recent re-plates from Krona.....
A Fatboy, single ring, and a NEW long comb head on my (non plated) UFO handle.
All in nickel.

very nice job......Happy, Happy, Happy!
