Kroger DE blades

Last night I was at Kroger and was parusing around the "shaving section". I only saw one thing of blades, labeled with the Kroger branding. They looked like rebranded Personnas, at least they were in Personnas white blade holder. I looked over the box and didn't see any other indentifying notes, no "Made In USA", no "American Razor Company", no nothing.

But, what got me was the price, about $5 for a pack of 10!!!

They're Personnas, with no Comfort Coating, and no platinum treatment on the edges. From what I've read they're good for two just tolerable shaves at best. Last time I looked at the Kroger south of here they were $2.39 for a 10-pack. That's better than the $5.99 CVS charges for the same thing in their packaging.

Of course there are far, far better blades available online for the same or less money.

As always with blades, YMMV.

They're $2.39 at my neighborhood Kroger as well. I bought a pack some months ago, but haven't tried them yet. Reports are that they're uncoated Personna blades. Since I can get my beloved Med Preps in bulk for about that same unit price, I don't envision stocking them regularly.
